A New Star is Born (in the Bike industry)

The web savvy amongest us maybe wise to this already,  but after seeing those Morvelo chaps launched their own wheelset (courtesy of a certain Mr.J.Shaggy Ross), we've put our heads together and gone one better.
What use are wheels without a frame to roll in?  So Simon and myself hit the drawing boards and after many to and fro s of email the VeloCake Bicycle was created!

Behold the awesomeness.

The pink reminds me of icing and the red rims are like a cherry, throw on a yellow marzipan saddle and I'll eat it...

VeloCake said...

loose the cherry, and it'd be a battenberg bike.
if the saddle was made of pastry, it would be like a bakewell tart!

It is indeed AWESOME!

Simon said...

Fuck :(

What's broked?

Mech torn in two, hanger twisted, chain twisted, pride hurt, ego bruised.

Limped 15 miles home on a bodged 34:13 singlespeed. Luckily I was 2/3 of the way up one of the biggest local climbs when it happened and was able to freewheel for a couple of miles down the other side.

Simon said...

At least it's not terminal.

For a change!!

This is how it all starts! A bit of internal politics on how some members see things going, a disparaging remark here a put down there.

Trust me,things look like they may be on a slippery slope of Anarchic free thought.

we think as one! we live as one! we die as one! we are ONE!!

Al, Live life,eat cake,be happy.

Sorry for any offence caused Simon but I really don't get pink, especially since some strange woman grabed my Turner in Grizedale declaring she was getting one just like it in pink.

Simon said...

You just need to explore your feminine side a bit more Keith ;-)

Hi Keith, can you get a turner in pink?

Apparently you could if you ordered it specially.

Not sure if you still can, are contemplating buying Simon one?
